Tagging records the creator you intend to reward. The documented Pons interface has no on-chain escrow for an unclaimed handle, so fees only reroute once that creator verifies and connects a wallet on the Claim page.

Redirecting a token's creator fees to your wallet means updating the fee recipient in the Pons locker, gated by proof that you own the tagged X handle. The documented Pons interface exposes locker fee data as read-only and no handle-ownership oracle, so TagLink will not fake a claim transaction or custody your fees. When a claim method and identity proof are published, this step will execute the real redirect.
